To Engage or Not to Engage

Session date: Wednesday 10th August 2016 Session time: 11:45 am - 12:45 pm Session location: Bann Session track ,

This discussion will bring together two Christian leaders, Scot McKnight and Nola Leach, for a time of reflection on how the Church should engage with government and politicians. We will hear varying opinions on the matter, from Scot’s perspective that the core “method” or “manner” for Christian engagement is by being the church God designed, and representing kingdom politics as a result, to Nola’s perspective that we must seek to engage with Government, having a voice which is influential in politics, legislation and policy. This seminar will include a Q&A and will be chaired by Stephen Cave, of Biblica.
