God of Law or God of Love?

Discovering the love of God in the Old Testament Law. It is often difficult for Christians to see how the Old Testament Law can possibly be God-given, when so much of it seems to stand in tension with the God of love that other parts of Scripture tell us about.  This seminar aims to help its participants to think through these vexed issues, and come to a better understanding of what God’s law sought to do for Israel, and what it also means for us – the Old Testament and New Testament peoples of God, loved by God and called to love in return, not least by following his commandments.
