Stories We Tell: Films, Worldviews and Scripture

Film-makers and writers may set out to simply tell a good story, yet they cannot help but communicate deeper messages. That’s because our deep-rooted worldviews always show through in what we communicate. So the stories we tell touch on the most fundamental questions of life. In all the countless films that have been made, most centre on a tiny number of underlying themes. This seminar focuses on seven key themes in the stories we tell, looking at how they express various worldviews and exploring their connection to the central storyline of the Bible.
