Reflecting on how we can increase our effectiveness as leaders. Every pastoral search committee has had to draw up criteria outlining the profile of the leader they want. Ability to preach is often at the top, but many other competencies are needed to effectively lead God’s people whether in a local church setting or on the mission-field. This session will bring leaders together with our different personalities, leadership styles, skill sets, backgrounds and ministry experiences, to consider how we can become more effective in our spiritual leadership. A key element will be the value of self-awareness and how we use it to be more effective as ministry leaders.
