Where is the church on Tuesday?

What would it look like if every believer who sat in church on Sunday was released to live out their God-given vocation in their workplace, community and home? This seminar explores a theology of work – but more than that, it aims to show how everyone: student, worker, unwaged, homemaker, grandparent, has a unique ‘frontline vocation’ to which they have been called. What if a church’s mission statement was to reveal the Glory of God through the spiritual development, missional effectiveness and increased Christlikeness of believers in every area of their lives?

Monty is a Presbyterian minister, currently serving as Director of IFES Ireland; the Christian Unions. He has published a book on the choosing of Praise Music and articles on reconciliation, childlessness and hymnology.
